1. Judah seemed to be in big trouble
2. Judah’s king, Ahaz, planned a worldlysolution to the trouble
3. God through Isaiah encouraged Ahaz to trust in a godly solution, even offering a sign
4. Ahaz ignored the offer, but God gave a sign of favor and protection anyway

Today’s Takeaway – Receive and rejoice in God’s sign of favor and protection given to us through Jesus, the child born of a virgin
