Do you have faith in God? I have folks I’m sharing Jesus with tell me from time to time, “I believe in God.” But that’s not what I’m asking. The book of James in chapter 2 tells us that even the demons believe in God and fear Him. But they don’t have faith in Him.

You see, according to James 2, if a person really has faith, they’ll act on that faith through godly actions. If they really have faith, they will live in light of that faith and do what that faith calls them to do. That’s why the Holy Spirit says in James 2 that faith without works is useless and dead.

You see, our good works, our goldy actions are the fruit of our faith. They indicate whether or faith is real. And real faith leads to righteous fruit.

So, you may believe in God. Most folks do. But do you have faith in God? The fruit of your life will tell you the answer.
