Does Grace Need Help?

Have you ever wondered if grace through faith is enough?
In Galatians 2:1–5, Paul faced that very pressure from false brothers who had snuck in amongst the fellowship. They were insisting that faith in Christ needed something extra—more ritual, more performance, more law. But Paul refused to give in “even for a moment.” Why? Because the truth of the gospel and the freedom it brings were at stake.
Here’s the problem: while we may not say it out loud, we often live like grace needs help, like God’s acceptance must be earned or maintained by our effort. But the gospel says grace through faith in Christ is enough—completely, fully, forever.
To add anything to grace is to subtract from grace and diminish the finished work of Christ.
So stand firm on the good news of the gospel. Reject the lie that you must perform to be accepted. In Jesus, you are already loved, already justified, already free.
Don’t trade the freedom of Christ for the chains of ritual. Stand firm in gospel grace. It’s enough.
Change begins in you!
