When you stand before God one day, would you like to receive a great reward? Well, in Matthew 10:40-42, Jesus tells us one way how, and here it is:  show hospitality to and be supportive of the ministers of God in your community.

Jesus was just about to send out his twelve disciples to do ministry in his name all throughout the community. He wrapped up his instructions saying, “Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. And whoever gives one of these… even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.”

Praise God for the men and women who serve in the name of Jesus here in our community. They represent the Lord. Be hospitable to them and support them, and you will have a great reward!
