Christmas day is less than a week away! As the classic song goes, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. You see, every Christmas is an open invitation from God to every person on planet earth to experience hope, peace, joy, and love through Christ Jesus. As we count down to Christmas, we’ll think on those blessings, and today we’ll focus on hope.

The Holy Spirit through Apostle Peter tells us that God has caused us to be born again to a living hope through Jesus Christ. The human heart needs hope, and through Christ, we have great hope. This hope is not a might-happen hope. No, it’s a guaranteed, no doubt about it, certainly will happen hope.

This hope is imperishable, undefiled, unfading, kept in heaven for us, and guarded by God’s omnipotence. Beloved, our hope couldn’t be more secure!

You are invited to receive this great hope by receiving Christ Jesus as savior and lord. He came and took on flesh at Christmas to give us this hope, and He did not disappoint.
