Does it feel like things in our area are decaying? Well, it needs some salt. And if you are a follower of Christ, you are that salt our community sorely needs.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:13, you are the salt of the earth. As salt flavors the food we eat, we should add a godly flavor to our community. And as salt acts as a preservative, we are to push back the decay surrounding us. And like salt heals wounds, we are to bring healing to the sore places in our society.

Yet, what good is salt if it loses its saltiness? It might as well be thrown out.

Beloved, your godliness is your saltiness. So, if you want to see this community flavored, preserved, and healed, grow as salty with godliness as you can, and then go spread that salt.
