CONNECT people to Christ and POUR into their lives His teaching so they'll OVERFLOW for the glory of God

Peace Perfected

Today, we continue the second week of the Advent season with our focus on peace.

Advent reminds us that Jesus came once and that He’s coming again. Revelation 21 gives us a glimpse of what that second coming means: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Listen carefully. No more. Not “less than before” or “easier to manage.” No. More.

Right now, we know peace mixed with pain. We experience moments of rest interrupted by worry. We celebrate victories shadowed by loss. Even our best days on earth carry the weight of a broken world.

But Jesus promised something different is coming. Not just better circumstances, but a completely new reality. “I am making everything new,” He declares from the throne. New heavens. New earth. New bodies. A world where God dwells directly with His people and every source of sorrow is forever removed.

This is the peace we’re ultimately waiting for—perfect, permanent, and protected.

This Advent, as you light candles and sing carols, remember: the Baby in the manger came to make all things new. The peace He started at Christmas, He will finish when He returns.

May you be blessed this Advent season!

Change begins in you!
