CONNECT people to Christ and POUR into their lives His teaching so they'll OVERFLOW for the glory of God

The Daily Gift of Hope

Today, we continue the first week of the Advent season with our focus on hope.

We read in Romans 15:13, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope”

Notice Apostle Paul’s prayer. He prays not that God would give you hope once, but that He would continually fill us with hope. This is present-tense provision—hope as an ongoing gift, not a historical memory.

Yes, hope was born in Bethlehem. But hope didn’t stop there. Through the Holy Spirit, the same God who sent His Son keeps filling believers with hope today. Right now. In your circumstances.

When discouragement threatens, hope sustains. When circumstances darken, hope illuminates. When strength fails, hope renews. This isn’t optimism or positive thinking—it’s the supernatural work of “the God of hope” actively pouring Himself into your soul. Apostle Paul connects hope to joy and peace “in believing.” Faith opens the channel, and the Spirit delivers the supply.

As you trust God today, He floods you with hope that enables you to “abound”—to overflow with expectation. Advent reminds us: the hope born at Christmas lives in you right now through the Spirit, sustaining you every single day. May you be blessed this Advent season!

Change begins in you!
