CONNECT people to Christ and POUR into their lives His teaching so they'll OVERFLOW for the glory of God

Of Lives and Lips

Over the years, I’ve learned this truth: you can easily tell a lie, but it’s hard to live one. Your mouth can say anything, but your life will always tell the truth about your heart.
In Titus 1, Apostle Paul addresses this very situation, giving a warning about those who profess to know God but deny him by their works. Their words said one thing. Their lives said another.
Beloved, every single one of us must be leery of falling into this pattern. We can claim faith, quote Scripture, even lead in the church, and still be detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work if our life doesn’t match our lips.
So, we shouldn’t just ask, “What do I believe?” That’s important, but more important is this question: “What is my life proving I believe?”
Our lives tell the fuller story. May our lives always live up to our lips!
Change begins in you!
